[REVIEW] Dearberry Flirt Lipstick in #02 Italian Rose

I decided to fulfil one of my promises for this month's update today ^^ I took quite a long time to decide whether I will do the Flirt Lipstick first or the Lip Service Lipstick first. And I decided to review the Flirt Lipstick first just because I love the colour payoff ^^

Before I started, I will give you a little information about Dearberry. Dearberry is a newly launched Korean brand. They sell make up and skincare products, mostly are aimed for more mature teenage girls. The price in Korea is almost the same with Etude House, so I suppose the quality will be equal with Etude House, too ^^

I have never used a lipstick before. I only use lip balms and lip glosses before. This will be my first experience in lipstick, and I'm glad I choose this brand ^^ Let's start the review~!

Don't you love the box packaging? ^^ They use a very pretty hot pink as the base colour of the box with black handwritten font. They also added a kiss mark by the end of the "Flirt" to add more.... awesomeness (LOL sorry I can't find the right word to describe it)

Dearberry Flirt Lipstick in #02 Italian Rose

I choose the #02 in Italian Rose because the colour is pretty. It's not too pink, and not too bright, too. It's my first time buying lipsticks, and I bought it online so I don't want to pick a bright colour because my skin tone is a little dark :)

The lipstick tube itself is also in a pretty hot pink. The design on the tube is exactly the same with the front side of the box. They don't actually has the ingredients written on the box, but they have this "Different lip colours to attract different man (according to blood types)". They wrote it like :

• Man with B blood type : Red
• Man with A blood type : Sexy and mature Orange
• Man with O blood type : Feminine Pink
• Man with AB blood type : Innocent Beige

Well I don't know a lot about man, but we can actually try this out, right? haha But remember, always pick a lip colour that is a compliment to your skin tone ^^ Anyway, let's continueeeee~~

Okay, this is the closest colour I can get to the one in real life. It's not a very pretty colour to look at from the tube. My mom got quite shocked when she saw this colour. I think it looks like NYX's Tea Rose? or even B52? The next photo is the photo you've been waiting for, THE SWATCH! LOL leggooooo~

Actually, after I swatch this, I think the colour is pretty ^^ It definitely looks good on my wrist, which is lighter than my face :/ There is no lip swatch, girls. Simply because I can't take a good picture. I mean the camera don't do any justice to the colour in real life.

I have already tried this on my lips ^^ I like the colour pay off, and it will look better on me once I get my actual skin tone on my face hehehehe~ It doesn't make my lips dry, too~ The Flirt Lipstick actually is more pigmented than the Lip Service Lipstick. One single swipe is enough for your lips (but somehow I can't do it in one swipe LOL). The picture above is done in 3 swipes and the colour is really vivid.

If you're aiming for a natural look with this, you can blot it with tissue after you applied it on your lips :) It will last longer that way, too. It's not that long lasting, especially if you drink and eat while wearing this.

Positive sides

• Doesn't make my lips dry
• Great colour pay off. VERY pigmented!!
• Can be used for natural and bold makeup. Just blend~
• Pretty packaging
• Long shelf life - 18 months
• This lipstick is soooo creamy! It glides on so smoothly ^^

Negative sides

• A little expensive, IDR 105,000 or US$10.50 (only KRW7,800 on the web though)
• Smells like regular lipstick, I wish it has a sweet smell :(
• Not too long lasting
• I can't find it in stores, gotta buy it online from Coccinelle

Will I repurchase this? I don't know. I love the colour pay off, but I found it hard to choose a nice lip colour only from the web :( Maybe I will try one more colour, and if I love that colour, I will try another colour LOL
